Shark Leathers was started in 2009 by former motocross champion Matthew Kuhne and his father, racing veteran John, after a devastating accident left Matthew with a broken neck and in a wheelchair at the tender age of 19.

From humble beginnings in the family garage, we have grown to become one of Australia’s premier suppliers of motorcycle safety apparel and gear with our passion for putting affordable and efficient motorcycle safety gear within reach of the average rider.
